We all know AI. We’ve talked about SI (Sleep Intelligence — click here to re-read).But what we don’t talk about enough is EI: Emotional Intelligence. We’ll never be smarter than AI - that’s not the goal.AI is designed to teach us, assist us, even anticipate us but it will never be able to feel for us.

Emotional intelligence is the one thing we can’t outsource - the bridge between what we know and how we show up.

 

EI is the foundation of how we lead, work and connect. It affects:

  • Performance: Teams with higher EI outperform others by up to 20%, even when skills and experience are equal.

  • Leadership: Nearly 90% of top performers score high in emotional intelligence - not because they know more, but because they understand people better.
