BENEFITS OF RETREATS
Escape the endless loop. Find your reset.
When daily life has you running on empty, caught in the same exhausting patterns, you need more than a weekend break. You need a complete system reboot.
Discover the ancient art of 'rounding'
This isn't your typical retreat experience. At the heart of everything we do is rounding—a powerful 4-step Vedic practice that combines gentle movement, breath-work, your meditation, and deep rest.
The result? A single weekend can release stress that would take 3-6 months of regular meditation to clear.
What makes this different:
-
No yoga experience needed (just your existing Vedic/TM practice)
-
Systematic stress release, not just relaxation
-
Specialised bodywork treatments included
-
Complete mind-body detox and renewal
-
You'll leave feeling like you've upgraded your entire operating system—clearer, calmer, and energized in ways you forgot were possible.

MEDITATING AT MAHARISHI MAHESH YOGI TEMPLE IN RISHIKESH, INDIA
WHAT IS ROUNDING?
Rounding is an ancient Vedic practice that supercharges your meditation by preparing your mind and body for deeper release.
The 4-Step Process:
-
Gentle stretching - Simple movements anyone can do (no yoga experience needed)
-
Subtle breathwork - Calming techniques to settle your system
-
Your regular meditation - Vedic or TM practice you already know
-
Deep rest - Complete stillness to integrate the experience
Why It Works: This sequence creates optimal conditions for your nervous system to release accumulated stress and tension that regular meditation alone can't reach. Think of it as preparing the soil before planting - your meditation becomes exponentially more effective.
The Results: One weekend of rounding can clear stress equivalent to 3-6 months of regular daily practice. You'll experience deeper states of rest, clearer thinking, and a profound sense of renewal that lasts long after the retreat ends.
No special skills required, just bring your existing meditation practice and an openness to go deeper.

Ayurveda is a 5000-year Indian way of wellbeing. The word Ayurveda is a combination of Ayus (Life) and Veda (Knowledge). Ayurveda is more than India’s ancient art of healing; it is the knowledge about life itself and assumes the fundamental sameness of self and nature.
Ayurveda believes in three bodily essences Vata (Air Principle), Pitta (Fire Principle) and Kapha (Water Principle).
These principles need to be kept in balance for a healthy body and mind. Unlike the medicines of the West, which perform on the finding out what’s ailing and then killing it. Ayurveda looks at preventing it.
Disease is regarded as a symptom of imbalance, so it’s the imbalance that’s treated not the disease. Ayurveda treats patients using mostly herbal medicines, which are taken orally or applied on the body and combined with herbal massage.
Panchkarma is the purification and detoxification measure of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.Aggravated doshas are regarded as toxins and comprise the 5 cleansing element procedures in the body. The five elements are space, air, fire, water and earth.
The objective of Panchkarma is the maintenance of health by means of equilibrium of biological forces to enhance the power of digestion and metabolism, to get rid of diseases from the very root out of the body and nervous system by the efficient elimination of waste products through body work and food bringing harmony among body, mind and soul.
